Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026. Version 2.0.

1. Who we are.

Flexlio is operated by HAHAGraphic Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07066033), 43 Chase Court Gardens, EN2 8DJ, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].

2. Accepting these terms.

2.1 You accept these terms by clicking “I agree” when Flexlio asks, or by using Flexlio, whichever comes first. If you do not agree, do not use Flexlio.

2.2 If you use Flexlio for a company, studio, agency or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it. In that case “you” means the organisation as well as you.

2.3 Flexlio is for business and professional use. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away your statutory rights.

2.4 We will ask you to accept again when we make a material change (clause 21).

3. Words we use.

  • Master: a frame you build in Figma for Flexlio to work from.
  • Your Content: everything you put into Figma and Flexlio, including text, images, logos, fonts, claims, prices and legal copy.
  • Output: everything Flexlio generates, changes, syncs, names, checks or reports from your Masters, including banners, frames, layers, files and the diagnostics log.
  • Export: any file made from Output and taken out of Figma, in any format, including image, PSD and print files.
  • Platform: any publisher, ad network, social or display service, printer, media owner, client or other party that will receive, run or print your Output.
  • Generation: one size created when you press Generate.

4. The service.

4.1 Flexlio is a plugin for Figma. It generates multi-size ad artwork from your Masters, keeps the sizes in step when you edit (sync), fits text, runs checks and, depending on your plan, validates safe zones, creates A/B versions, imports media plans, names files and exports files. Features vary by plan. See flexlio.co.uk/pricing.

4.2 Flexlio runs inside Figma and needs a Figma account, which is governed by Figma’s terms. We are not part of Figma.

4.3 Flexlio works from how your Masters are built (layout, naming, anchoring, grouping and text wrapping, as our Master setup guide explains) and from any answers you give it. It makes its best judgement and can get things wrong, especially where a Master does not follow the guide.

4.4 We keep improving Flexlio and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you are paying for, we will tell you, and you may cancel and receive a refund of the unused part of your paid period.

4.5 Features marked “Coming soon” are not yet available. They are not part of any paid plan until we release them, and they may change or not be released. We do not give release dates.

5. Licence.

5.1 We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Flexlio for your own business, within your plan.

5.2 Our plans are Free, Pro, Pro Plus and Enterprise. Pro, Pro Plus and Enterprise are activated by a licence key for one named person; teams buy one key per person. You must not share, resell or publish licence keys. We may use the licence check (the key and the anonymous installation identifier) to spot keys used across an unusual number of installations. We will contact you before deactivating a key unless the misuse is clear or serious.

5.3 You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer or decompile Flexlio except where the law allows it, build a competing product from it, remove its notices, interfere with the licence check, or use it to break the law or a Platform’s rules.

5.4 We own Flexlio and everything in it. You own what you make (clause 6).

6. Your files and content.

6.1 You own Your Content and your Outputs. We claim no rights over your designs or Outputs.

6.2 You give us permission to use Your Content only as far as needed to run Flexlio on your files inside Figma and, if you send us a support file, to read it and help you. If you choose to send us a master (clause 6.5), we may use it as that clause says.

6.3 You confirm you have and will keep all rights and permissions for Your Content, including licences for images and fonts, clearances for logos, trademarks, music and people’s likeness, and evidence for any claims in your ads. Flexlio does not check Your Content for rights, accuracy or whether it is allowed.

6.4 Flexlio does not send your designs to us. The only data it sends is the licence check described in our Privacy Policy.

6.5 If you choose to email us a master or other artwork so we can test and improve Flexlio, you give us permission to use it for that purpose only. You confirm you have the right to share it. We will not publish it, show it to others or sell it, and we will delete it if you ask.

7. You review everything before it goes live.

7.1 Flexlio makes drafts of artwork for you to check. A person must review every Output and Export before it is published, delivered, uploaded, printed, sent to a client or otherwise released.

7.2 You are responsible for that review and for the decision to release. A proper review means looking at every size and every Export file in the form it will be used, including all text, legal lines, prices, dates, logos, images, crops, colours, safe areas, file format and file size.

7.3 Flexlio’s diagnostics log, warnings, safe-zone alerts, preflight checks and any “pass” or “ready” state are aids that point you to likely problems. They do not find every problem, can be wrong, and do not replace your review. A size with no warning is not approved.

7.4 Once an Output or Export leaves your control, you are responsible for it, including any error, omission, distortion, crop, text overflow, missing element, wrong version, wrong colour or wrong file, whether or not Flexlio caused it or failed to flag it. This does not limit our responsibility where the law does not allow us to exclude it (clause 19.1).

7.5 If you use Flexlio for clients or others, you are responsible for your own approval process and for making sure they know Outputs must be checked. We owe no duty to your clients.

7.6 Flexlio may ask you to confirm you have reviewed before an Export. That confirmation is a reminder. If it is missing, or no prompt appears, your responsibility under this clause is the same.

8. Regulated, legal and mandatory content.

8.1 Ads may need legal lines, disclaimers, age or risk warnings, prices, terms, claim substantiation, credits or labels (including AI labels) because of the law, a regulator, a Platform or a client.

8.2 Flexlio resizes, moves, scales, crops and fits text and images. This can shrink, crop, overlap, hide or drop text and graphics, including legal and mandatory lines. Flexlio cannot know which of your content is mandatory, or judge whether it is legible, sufficient or compliant.

8.3 You are solely responsible for checking that mandatory content is present, complete, legible, correctly placed and compliant in every size and Export, and that your finished advertising complies with all laws, advertising codes, Platform policies and client instructions. Flexlio is not legal or compliance advice and does not certify compliance with anything.

9. Exports and file formats.

9.1 Exports are made from your Output with the settings you choose. Different programs, platforms and printers can show the same file differently. We do not promise that an Export will open, display, play or print the same way in any application, ad server, Platform or device (including Photoshop and other PSD readers), or that it meets any Platform’s specification.

9.2 You are responsible for choosing the right Export settings and for testing each Export where it will be used (a test upload, a proof, or a check with your supplier) before release.

9.3 Moving work out of Figma can lose or change things, such as live text, fonts, effects, blend modes, masks, gradients, transparency and colour profiles. Check every Export for this.

9.4 Fonts, images and other assets stay subject to their own licences, including when Exported.

9.5 If file names or numbering come from a media plan or naming rules, check that they match what the Platform or client expects.

10. Platform specs and safe zones.

10.1 Sizes, safe zones, file limits and rules are set by Platforms and change without notice. Flexlio’s built-in specs and alerts are guidance, based on what we knew when we last reviewed them. We review them regularly but cannot promise they are current or complete, or that a Platform will accept your ad.

10.2 Check each Platform’s current specs and policies before release. We are not responsible if a Platform rejects, crops, resizes, delays or fails to run your ads, or for lost media spend, missed flight dates or deadlines.

11. Flexlio changes your Figma file.

11.1 Flexlio creates, edits, moves, resizes, renames and replaces frames and layers in your Figma file. Sync can update many banners at once when you edit a Master, including live sync when you turn it on. Regenerate rebuilds a banner and can replace hand edits made to it.

11.2 Check before you use Generate, Sync or Regenerate on important work. Keep your own backups or duplicate files, and use Figma’s version history. Figma’s undo and version history can recover many changes, but we cannot promise they will recover all of them.

11.3 Subject to clause 19, we are not responsible for loss of or damage to your files or work, or for the time and cost of redoing it.

12. Print and out-of-home.

Schedule 1 applies to any Output or Export you intend to use for print, out-of-home (OOH), digital out-of-home (DOOH) or any physical or large-format use. It applies whether or not the feature is labelled beta, preview or released, and whether or not Flexlio knows the intended use.

13. Third parties.

13.1 Figma. Flexlio depends on Figma’s plugin platform and can stop working or behave differently when Figma changes it. We are not responsible for Figma’s availability, review decisions or changes. Your use of Figma is under Figma’s terms.

13.2 Paddle. Pro and Pro Plus are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, payment, tax and invoicing, and its Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. Enterprise agreements are contracted and invoiced directly with HAHAGraphic Ltd.

13.3 Our providers. We use service providers for the licence check and for email. What they receive is set out in our Privacy Policy.

13.4 Everyone else. Platforms, printers, publishers, clients and anyone else you send Outputs to are outside our control. We are not responsible for what they do or decide.

14. Payment and subscriptions.

14.1 Prices are at flexlio.co.uk/pricing. Pro and Pro Plus are priced per user per month, billed monthly in advance, and renew until cancelled.

14.2 Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Paddle may display and charge the equivalent in your local currency, converted at the rate applying when each payment is taken.

14.3 You can cancel at any time through the link Paddle provides or by contacting us. Access continues to the end of the paid period.

14.4 Your first payment for a plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, as set out in our Refund Policy. Refunded licences are deactivated. Other refunds are handled under the Refund Policy, or as the law requires.

14.5 We may change prices on at least 30 days’ notice, taking effect from your next renewal. If you disagree, cancel before then.

15. The free plan.

15.1 The free plan gives each installation of Flexlio 30 free generations in total, with the features shown for Free at flexlio.co.uk/pricing. Only pressing Generate uses them, once for each size it creates; Sync does not. No payment or account is needed.

15.2 When the 30 generations are used, Generate stops until you choose a plan. Sync and editing of what you have already made keep working, and your Outputs stay yours.

15.3 The free plan is the trial. There is no separate trial period, and these terms apply to free users in full.

15.4 We may change free-plan limits with notice on our website.

16. Support.

16.1 Support is by email at [email protected] on UK working days and in UK business hours. Help guides and videos are available to everyone. We do not promise a reply time or a fix by a given date.

16.2 Flexlio can save a support file for you to send us. It may include the plugin version, your plan, your settings and a log of what Flexlio did. Client names and copy are removed before it is saved, and it does not include your design file. You choose whether to send it.

16.3 Advice we give is general guidance. You remain responsible under clause 7.

17. Data and privacy.

17.1 Flexlio does not read, send or store your designs. Its only network request is the licence check. Our Privacy Policy explains what is sent and why.

17.2 You are responsible for any personal data in Your Content and media plans, including faces, names and contact details, and for having the right to use it.

18. What we promise, and what we do not.

18.1 We will provide Flexlio with reasonable skill and care, and will work in good faith to fix confirmed faults.

18.2 Apart from 18.1 and what the law requires, Flexlio is provided “as is” and “as available”. We give no warranty or condition, express or implied, that Flexlio or any Output, Export or report will be error-free, accurate, complete, suitable for your purpose, accepted by any Platform, printer or client, uninterrupted, or compatible with every Figma file, setup or version.

18.3 Automated layout, fitting, cropping, naming and export can produce errors in individual sizes. That is why clause 7 requires review.

19. Our liability.

19.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

19.2 Subject to 19.1, we are not liable, in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for:

  • loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings;
  • wasted media spend, ad rejection or missed flight dates;
  • the cost of reprinting, re-posting, recalling, correcting, redelivering or replacing printed or published material;
  • fines, penalties or regulatory claims arising from Your Content or Outputs you release;
  • loss of or damage to data or files, or the cost of recreating work; or
  • any indirect or consequential loss,

in each case whether or not it was foreseeable.

19.3 Subject to 19.1, our total liability to you for all claims arising from these terms or Flexlio is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, and (b) £100.

19.4 These limits reflect the price of Flexlio, including a free plan, and are part of the basis on which we offer it.

19.5 We are not liable for failure or delay caused by things outside our reasonable control, including outages of Figma, hosting providers, Platforms or networks.

20. Your responsibility to cover us.

20.1 You will defend us and pay our losses, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from any claim by a third party (including a client, Platform, regulator, printer or rights holder) that comes from: (a) Your Content; (b) any Output or Export that you or your organisation release, publish, deliver, print or approve, including errors, omissions, crops and missing or illegible mandatory content; (c) your breach of these terms or the law; or (d) your breach of third-party rights, licences or Platform rules.

20.2 This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct.

20.3 We will tell you promptly of a claim and let you run its defence with our reasonable help at your cost. You will not settle a claim in a way that admits fault on our part without our agreement.

21. Changes to these terms.

21.1 We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new date and version number. For material changes we will give at least 14 days’ notice in the plugin, by email or on our website, and may ask you to accept the new version before you continue.

21.2 If a change to your paid plan is materially to your disadvantage, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current paid period.

22. Ending.

22.1 You can stop at any time by uninstalling Flexlio and cancelling any paid plan (clause 14).

22.2 We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms (including by sharing keys or using Flexlio unlawfully), do not pay, or if the law or Figma requires it. We will give notice where it is reasonable to do so. We may stop offering Flexlio or the free plan on reasonable notice, and will refund the unused part of any paid period.

22.3 Clauses 6 to 11, 18 to 20 and 22 to 24 survive ending. Your Outputs stay yours.

23. General.

23.1 These terms, with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Schedule 1, are the whole agreement about Flexlio.

23.2 If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

23.3 If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.

23.4 You may not transfer these terms. We may transfer them to a successor of our business, with notice to you.

23.5 Only you and we can enforce these terms.

23.6 We will send notices to the email address on your licence or support emails. Send ours to [email protected].

24. Law and courts.

24.1 These terms, and any dispute about them or Flexlio, are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

24.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring claims in the courts where you live, and the mandatory consumer protections of your country still apply.

Schedule 1: Print and out-of-home.

This schedule applies to any Output or Export intended for print, out-of-home (OOH), digital out-of-home (DOOH) or any physical or large-format use. It adds to the main terms. If they conflict, this schedule wins for print use.

S1.1 A screen is not ink. Figma works in RGB screen colour. Any colour preview, swatch or proof Flexlio shows for print is an approximation. Printed colour depends on paper, ink, press, profile and supplier, and will look different from the screen.

S1.2 Always get a proof. Before any print run or poster booking, send the final Export to your printer or media owner and have a person approve a proof (a physical or contract proof, or a soft proof your supplier accepts). A Flexlio preview is not a proof.

S1.3 Preflight is guidance. Checks for resolution, type size, bleed, safe margins, ink limits, colour or fonts use the settings you or a preset provide. We do not verify them against your supplier’s real specification, and they do not find every problem. Specs differ between printers, publications and sites, and change. Get the current spec from your supplier and set Flexlio to match.

S1.4 Presets are starting points. A preset named after a format (newspaper, magazine, poster, 6-sheet, 48-sheet) is an example, not a supplier’s specification.

S1.5 Text and fonts. Print Exports may turn text into outlines or shapes. Text will then not be editable or searchable, and very small type can look heavier or different in print. Check small type and white-on-colour type closely.

S1.6 Bleed, trim and marks. Check that trim size, bleed, crop marks and slug are right for your supplier. They are set from your settings.

S1.7 Colour conversion. Flexlio may convert or approximate colour (for example RGB to CMYK) and may not keep supplied CMYK, spot colour, overprint or colour profiles. Do not rely on Flexlio for colour-critical or brand-critical matching unless your supplier has confirmed it on a proof.

S1.8 “Press-ready” is not approval. If Flexlio describes a file as print-ready or press-ready, or names a PDF standard such as PDF/X, that describes the file format only. It does not mean your printer or media owner will accept the file, or that the content is correct.

S1.9 Print is costly and hard to undo. Your duty to review under clause 7 applies in full. Our liability is limited under clause 19, including for reprinting, re-posting, site and media costs.

S1.10 OOH rules. OOH display is subject to rules on placement, content, safety and permission. Flexlio does not check any of them.
